After training as a polymechanic, I studied conservation and restoration of modern materials and media at the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB), where I focused on Time-Based Media conservation. During and after my studies, I was able to apply and expand my knowledge in various institutions. These include the Zurich State Archives, the Lichtspiel/Kinemathek Bern, the HKB, the Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen and the Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe (ZKM). I have been running the atelier für medienkonservierung with great passion since April 2024.
